BESTNet Research Training

Annual training activities are associated with research/research training workshops at which US and international researchers address topics currently under discussion in global change programs (e.g., modeling techniques for integrating biophysical and socioeconomic aspects of biodiversity change). BESTNet Fellows are financially supported to attend the workshops. While some Fellows are nominated from within the network, participation in the workshops is open to PhD students or Post-Docs based at US institutions.

Applications for future workshops may be made via the web by completing the BESTNet Fellowship Application Form below.

Doctoral students among the BESTNet Fellows may be funded to spend time in the labs of participating scientists in the US and abroad.
