Recent appointments
Eli Fenichel, Assistant Professor of Bioeconomics
will be joining the School of Life Sciences at ASU in August 2008, to work with the ecoSERVICES GROUP. He holds a Ph.D. in Fisheries and Wildlife with a Ph.D. specialization in Natural Resource and Environmental Economics; an M.S. in Agricultural Economics and B.S. in Wildlife Ecology. His interests are in feedback connections between humans and ecosystems, the role of risk and approaches to managing risk in natural resource decision making, bioeconomics, natural resource economics, populations and disease ecology, natural resource policy and sustainability, modeling
Rodrigo Arriagada, Post-Doctoral Research Associate
will be joining the ecoSERVICES GROUP in August 2008. He is currently completing a PhD at North Carolina State University on payments for ecosystem services in Costa Rica.
